The Audio-Technica AT-VM95EN/H Headshell & Cartridge Combo Kit combines the high-performance AT-VM95EN Dual Moving Magnet cartridge with an AT-HS6BK universal 1/2-inch headshell, providing a convenient pre-mounted solution for compatible turntables and tonearms. The complete assembly is factory mounted and designed for easy installation, making it a practical choice for high-fidelity vinyl playback.

At the heart of the AT-VM95EN is a 0.3 × 0.7 mil nude elliptical stylus. Its one-piece nude diamond construction provides a lightweight and rigid stylus assembly that accurately follows the record groove, helping deliver detailed high-frequency reproduction and responsive musical transients. The stylus is mounted to an aluminum pipe cantilever, providing a precise and responsive connection between the stylus and cartridge generator.

The cartridge uses Audio-Technica’s VM dual-magnet design, engineered to reproduce the left and right stereo channels accurately. Specially wound coils help increase output voltage, while the durable low-resonance polymer housing provides a stable foundation for the cartridge assembly. The AT-VM95EN/H delivers a 20 Hz–23 kHz frequency response, 3.5 mV output voltage, and 22 dB channel separation, supporting clear and detailed stereo reproduction.

Installation is straightforward thanks to the cartridge’s threaded inserts, which allow it to be secured to the headshell with two screws without requiring separate nuts. The included AT-HS6BK universal half-inch-mount headshell is compatible with turntables using a standard 4-pin cartridge connection, making the combo suitable for a wide range of compatible Hi-Fi turntable systems.

The AT-VM95EN/H is designed to operate with a recommended tracking force of 1.8–2.2 g, with 2.0 g as the standard setting. It is specified for a 47 kΩ load impedance and 100–200 pF load capacitance, making it suitable for compatible moving-magnet phono stages. The complete cartridge and headshell assembly weighs approximately 15.5 g.

Another advantage of the VM95 platform is its interchangeable stylus system. The AT-VM95EN cartridge body is compatible with the AT-VMN95 replacement stylus range, allowing users to replace or upgrade the stylus while retaining the same cartridge body.
